The SLW Centennial Navy JROTC “Black Talon” Company competed in the Cypress Creek NJROTC Drill Competition on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Mrs. Lankow’s classroom was buzzing with creativity as students celebrated the 100th day of school. They showcased projects highlighting perseverance, counting skills, and fun. Students created vibrant posters with 100 stickers, stamps, or drawings, each telling a unique story. Students wore handmade shirts and hats adorned with sequins and fabric numbers, turning the classroom into a mini fashion show. A challenge involved building a structure with 100 Lego bricks, fostering problem-solving. Students worked on puzzles, matching pieces, while practicing math skills through grouping and estimating.
