Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion Celebrates Successful Field Day

The Jaguar Battalion conducted its annual Field Day on May 9, 2026. This event is designed to promote esprit de corps, encourage friendly competition, and determine the Battalion’s top-performing Company.
Cadets reported at 7:30 AM in physical training (PT) gear and prepared for the day’s activities under the supervision of their respective Company command teams. Once accountability and instructions were completed, Cadets participated in a series of athletic events that tested physical endurance, coordination, and teamwork.
Throughout the day, Cadets demonstrated strong athletic ability, discipline, and cooperation while competing in the scheduled events. Upon completion of the competitions, a meal was provided, allowing participants time to recover, socialize, and reflect on their performance.
Following the meal, the Battalion announced that Delt Company took the gold by scoring 49 points in total and winning the tie breaker, Hamster Ball.
In addition to recognizing competitive achievements, the Battalion took time to honor and send off its senior cadets. These graduating leaders have played a vital role in shaping the Jaguar Battalion’s success, setting the standard through their dedication, mentorship, and commitment to excellence. The Battalion extends its sincere congratulations to the senior class and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors, both in and out of uniform.
The event concluded at approximately 3:30 PM, at which time Cadets were dismissed after a full day of competition, teamwork, and Battalion pride.
