Palm Pointe’s first-grade students wrapped up their intentional review unit with a fun and engaging Farm Day as they prepared for PM3 testing. Third-graders had a ball bringing idioms to life today! Through creative costumes, props, and presentations, students showed they truly understood phrases that usually mean more than the words themselves. Lakewood Park Elementary STOP and STEAM day

STOP and STEAM at Lakewood Park Elementary engaged all Kindergarten–5th grade students. Students worked cooperatively in minds-on, hands-on activities to communicate complex problems and propose solutions. Kindergarten and first-grade students explored animals of the Florida Everglades and created habitats for Everglades animals. Second-graders investigated sink-and-float concepts. Third-graders researched Everglades habitat problems and built bridges. Fourth-graders collaborated on the Save Fred problem-solving challenge. Fifth-graders examined human impact on the Everglades ecosystem by designing informative posters that shared research findings, solutions, and messages of environmental responsibility. All activities emphasized creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, communication, perseverance, and reflection. 

Celebrating Our Oak Hammock K-8 Ospreys: Final PBIS Event of the Year

Oak Hammock K-8 wrapped up the school year’s PBIS celebrations with an exciting, school‑wide event that honored students who demonstrated The Osprey Standard. This final PBIS celebration was a joyful reminder of how positive choices, respect, and responsibility help our campus soar. Our 8th Grade “Reading Wizards” experienced a day of learning magic during Palm Pointe’s Harry Potter-themed ELA intentional review. Students rotated through all four Hogwarts Houses, engaging in spellbinding activities that strengthened key literacy skills.
