Southport Middle School Proudly Presents Finding Nemo KIDS

On Friday, May 1st, Southport Middle School Drama hosted their Musical Theatre Class’ spring musical presentation of Finding Nemo KIDS. In cooperation with Port St. Lucie High School Drama, student thespians from the high school level had the opportunity to visit Southport and student-direct and choreograph our 30-minute musical production inspired by the hit Disney/Pixar movie. The audience was delighted as we joined Nemo, Marlin, Dory, and a cast of other memorable characters as they sang and danced through the Australian seas, featuring amazing musical numbers such as Fish Are Friends, Just Keep Swimming, and Go With The Flow.
SPMS Drama would like to thank our wonderful families for their involvement and participation in their students’ interest in the theatre, our amazing faculty, staff, and administration for their unending support of our students, and PSLHS Drama for coordinating volunteers to help direct and choreograph an amazing show and helping inspire our students to aspire to greater theatrical endeavors as they continue forward in their academic careers.
Lastly, thank you to everyone who came out to see the show for supporting the arts in our schools. Our community thrives when we get to share our love of storytelling with others, and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to share our hard work, our passion, and our joy with you.
