Our Fishing Club recently spent a meaningful Saturday morning giving back to the community while enjoying the great outdoors. Led by Coach Zoerhof and Coach Gonzalez, students participated in a beach clean‑up, working together to help keep our shoreline clean and protect the local environment. Southport Middle School recently enjoyed a wonderful evening of community partnership during Tip‑A‑Teacher Night at Texas Roadhouse. Students, families, staff members, and local patrons came together to support SPMS, creating an atmosphere filled with school pride and generosity. PSL Warriors Bring Lacrosse to Life at Southport Middle School

This past week, students had an exciting opportunity to learn from the Port Saint Lucie Warriors Lacrosse Club! On Monday, the team introduced basic skills such as passing, shooting, and scooping, along with key techniques to get started. By Wednesday, students were putting those skills into action with fun games while learning the rules of lacrosse. Southport Middle School recently honored students’ hard work and progress on their PM2 FAST assessments with a special “Pizza for Performance” celebration. Southport Middle School celebrated students who did not receive any referrals for the month of August with an exciting Staff vs. Student Volleyball Game! These students enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon cheering for their peers, purchasing snacks and drinks, and watching an intense matchup. Southport Middle School hosted its Read to Succeed Fundraiser at Big Apple Pizza on November 12, and it was a huge success! Families came together to enjoy delicious pizza while supporting SPMS.
