From River’s Edge to FPC- A Twin Journey

Being a twin means you do most everything together. From similar laughs to clothing and friends, twins walk alongside each other for many of life’s most important moments. The Maxon twins Christian and Christopher are no different. While attending River’s Edge Elementary, the twins met and were mentored by Dr. Kevin Perry while he was the acting principal. Congratulations to the Class of 2025! On May 22 & 23, Superintendent Dr. Jon R. Prince, joined by Board Chairman Dr. Donna Mills, Board Vice Chairman Troy Ingersoll, Board Member Terissa Aronson, Board Member Debbie Hawley, Board Member Jennifer Richardson and Deputy Superintendent Dr. Helen Wild, celebrated the graduating classes of 2025 at the St. Lucie County Fairgrounds. Thirteen Pre-K students at SLW Centennial High School celebrated a special milestone as they graduated and prepared to begin Kindergarten next year. The accolades and achievements of Port St. Lucie High School (PSLHS) are now housed in a newly remodeled trophy case, thanks to the exceptional skills of students in Mr. Slover’s Technical Design/Carpentry class. This hands-on project has provided a significant, real-world learning experience while simultaneously enhancing the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame. The Class of 2026 at St. Lucie West Centennial High School officially began their senior journey with an energizing and informative kickoff meeting that set the tone for their Senior year. White City Elementary Students Bring Creativity to Life

White City Elementary students bring creativity to life with incredible animations, made possible by a generous STEM Grant from the St. Lucie Education Foundation! Mr. Tobin, art teacher at White City Elementary, guided the students through hands-on exploration, as they uncovered the science behind animation, learning how cameras capture movement and how frame rates shape what we see. SLW Centennial Students Celebrate EOC Success

Students at SLW Centennial High School were recently rewarded with a sweet treat for their outstanding performance on the Algebra and Geometry End-of-Course (EOC) exams. Those who scored a level 3, 4, or 5 were invited to enjoy an ice cream incentive, which was provided by their class sponsors.
