The SLW Centennial High School Eagle Regiment Band participated in the 35th Sights and Sounds Parade in Fort Pierce.  The Band earned Best Musical Performance for Marching Bands. Congratulations EAGLES!

On December 6, 2023, the Legal Eagles Club from SLW Centennial High School went on a tour of the United States District Court in Fort Pierce. Hosted by Judge Shaniek Maynard, the students went from Intake, to the holding cells, to the Grand Jury room, to the Courtroom, and heard from a variety of speakers, including: U.S. Marshals, a Federal Prosecutor, a Federal Civil Attorney, Federal Public Defenders, Probation Officers, Court Deputies, a Law Clerk, and Judge Maynard herself. Our teachers thanked our parents in the morning for getting their children to school on time with snacks and water bottles! It was great to see so many smiling faces at 7:15 am!!  Attendance matters.

Our Centennial seniors pledged to graduate on Thursday, November 9, at the Flight of the Eagle Senior Pinning Ceremony.  Thank you to Kyle Greene, Centennial alum, for being the guest speaker.  Thank you to the amazing senior class sponsors, Amanda Mack and Karla Giametta, for always doing their best for our students!  Go Eagles!!!!!  

St. Lucie West Centennial High School students had the opportunity to go to IRSC on November 2nd to tour the campus.  Students learned about the different programs offered at IRSC.  Eagles planning for their future!

The SLW Centennial High School Key Club helped the Fort Pierce Sunrise Kiwanis Club clean Jaycee Park on Saturday, October 28.  Thank you EAGLES for making a difference in our community.

Students were rewarded with a Fall Festival that included games, a dunk tank, sporting events, dancing, and other fun activities.

Congratulations to SLW Centennial’s Nathan Korb for competing in the third annual Sunshine Kitchen Culinary Cook-Off.  

SLW Centennial High School wears orange for Unity Day.  Working together to prevent bullying.

SLW Centennial celebrated Hispanic Heritage month by participating in several activities throughout the month including trivia games, Hispanic recognitions and Hispanic dancing during lunches.

SLW Centennial High School wears pink for breast cancer awareness.

On October 5th, Mr. Nichols’s Criminal Justice 3 class at Centennial had guest speakers from the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Department visit them. Sgt. Billy Morash, Sgt. Woods, and Sgt. Richardson from the Criminal Investigation Unit, spoke with students about how the division is comprised, and what it takes to be a Crime Scene Investigator. The students had a great time and were able to ask questions throughout the program. We are very thankful for the support that we receive from our local Law Enforcement Agencies.

On Tuesday, October 3, SLW Centennial HOSA hosted a blood drive. The blood drive was a huge success! They were able to collect 75 pints with 11 of them being platelets! Overall, it was a great turnout, especially for the first one in years.  The blood donations will help to save so many lives!!!  Way to go EAGLES!

St. Lucie West Centennial High Nursing Assisting students are working hard towards their certification. They had a successful day at clinicals and will continue to reach for their goals.  SLW Centennial High School has partnered with Port St. Lucie Rehab Center to give students hands-on experiences to help students further develop their skills.  Go Eagles!!!  

Congratulations to the SLW Centennial NJROTC cadets who participated and passed the Annual Military Review Inspection. Congratulations to Lt. Aponte, the NJROTC instructor, for properly preparing the cadets and leading them to success.
