PBPA Hosts Community Connection Luncheon

Community members attended PBPA’s first Community Connection Luncheon on Oct. 8th.  Students were able to hear success stories and interact with different community members. They were also able to learn about some interests that our community members have, and how those interests helped them experience success in their careers.

C.S.I. visits Treasure Coast High’s Criminal Justice Classes

Students from Mr. Rios Criminal Justice classes participated in a mock crime scene investigation.  The demonstration was set-up by the Port St. Lucie Police Department’s Crime Scene Investigation team.  Students observed the process from securing the scene to the physical collection of evidence.  This mock investigation provided hands-on opportunities for all of the students.

CTE Students Participate in State of Jobs Conference

Students from St. Lucie Public Schools participated in the annual State of Jobs Conference held at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center.  Students were able to follow their desired track in either Healthcare, Professional and Financial Services, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Skilled Trades, or Arts.  This event allowed students to connect with post-secondary colleges and university’s along…
