Cobra nation celebrated the tremendous accomplishments of students earning “A” Honor Roll and Principal’s Honor Roll. The Port Saint Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion recently experienced an extraordinary trip to Aquatica and SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida, from April 25th through April 27th, 2025. This adventure served as a well-deserved reward for the hard work and dedication demonstrated by our cadets throughout the year. The trip package included admission to both parks, all-day dining, hotel accommodations, transportation, and breakfast. On the first day, the cadets enjoyed a full day of waterpark fun at Aquatica. Saturday, April 26, Ceramics III Honors and AICE Art & Design students were invited to participate in Raku Firing at the Indian River Clay Studio (IRCS) in Vero Beach. At 9am, the heat was turned on, and the outdoor Raku kiln was warming up. Students received a tour of the kiln room, clay and glazes preparation area, studio space, and workshop. Students premade their artwork at FPC’s ceramics studio, did a bisque fire, and coated their artwork with specialized Raku glazes. Southport Middle School Drama was proud to present Disney’s The Aristocats Kids this past Thursday, April 24th. Working cooperatively with Port St. Lucie High School Drama, alumni returned to Southport to student direct this classic Disney musical, which was met with overwhelming praise and joy by an audience of students, families, and friends. Palm Pointe Kindergarten students were thrilled to take a field trip to The Fresh Market in Tradition.  Students, chaperones, and teachers walked safely down the street to get a hands-on experience following one of our Play With Purpose themes.    Our students loved touring the grocery store, sampling snacks,  and learning about what it takes to maintain a business that provides for the community.  This real world experience was enjoyed by all.  The Market staff was so inviting, and the students were attentive and engaged.  We want to thank the store manager, Michael Gillespie, for helping make this field trip … Read More
