This past week, students had an exciting opportunity to learn from the Port Saint Lucie Warriors Lacrosse Club! On Monday, the team introduced basic skills such as passing, shooting, and scooping, along with key techniques to get started. By Wednesday, students were putting those skills into action with fun games while learning the rules of lacrosse. Southport Middle School recently honored students’ hard work and progress on their PM2 FAST assessments with a special “Pizza for Performance” celebration. They dove into an exciting investigation to compare and contrast common minerals by their physical properties—hardness, color, luster, cleavage, and streak color. Cobras Celebrate 12 State Qualifiers In November, Fort Pierce Central High School proudly hosted its first-ever Florida Civics and Debate Initiative (FCDI) regional tournament on campus—a milestone event for our school and community.
