Dan McCarty Middle School proudly hosted its Third Annual Black History Program, and each year this celebration continues to grow in impact, excellence, and community engagement. The evening featured powerful student performances that reflected confidence, culture, and scholarship. Career Day in Action! Our students had an incredible opportunity to explore a wide range of Career & Technical Education (CTE) pathways during today’s Career Day experience. Throughout the day, students rotated through engaging presentations, asked thoughtful questions, and gained firsthand insight into various career options from knowledgeable industry professionals. One chilly December morning, what a magical sight, the Grinch came to Dan McCarty bringing joy and delight! He peered through the halls with a mischievous grin, but his heart grew three sizes when the giving began. On Tuesday 2/25, Mrs. Natta, 8th grade school counselor, was interviewed by the Treasure Coast Food Bank regarding the success of the Dan McCarty Food and Teen Pantry. In October of 2023, a student inspired Mrs. Natta and the school counseling department to start a food and teen pantry to help all our students and their families. The DMMS food pantry provides food like rice, canned goods, pasta, and chicken to our families, while the teen pantry provides items like soap, shampoo, conditioner, and toothpaste.
