This past week, students had an exciting opportunity to learn from the Port Saint Lucie Warriors Lacrosse Club! On Monday, the team introduced basic skills such as passing, shooting, and scooping, along with key techniques to get started. By Wednesday, students were putting those skills into action with fun games while learning the rules of lacrosse.
The Warriors also gave students a closer look at the equipment explaining the different positions on the field, the types of sticks used, and the differences between men’s and women’s lacrosse sticks. To top it off, they invited students to attend two of their evening practices at no cost, and several students took advantage of the chance to see the sport in action!
