The colorful attire symbolized their commitment to kindness and respect, creating a supportive and inclusive school environment. Together, they showed that everyone can be a hero by standing up for others!

The TCHS Titan Sound Band has rocked the District 13 Marching Festival, earning superior ratings in every category! This incredible achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of each band member, along with the unwavering support from our amazing band parents. Lawnwood Elementary students enjoyed the Eco Guardians Performance.  With the help of Nikki Neutron, a superhero for the energy-saving Eco Guardians, Grades K-5 students learned about energy efficiency.  In summary, students learned about the importance of energy conservation and ways they can help save energy.  GO LEOPARDS!

Our junior class took an important step towards becoming responsible citizens by completing state-mandated CPR training. By learning lifesaving skills, our students are prepared to make a positive impact on their communities. CPR training is essential for students for several reasons: Lifesaving Skills: CPR can significantly increase the chances of survival in cardiac arrest situations. When playing with your food is finally acceptable because you’re modeling scientific information! Ms. Jordan’s 8th-grade classroom (with the assistance of Mr. Tygesson) participated in a lunar phase lab (demonstrating the 8 phases of the moon using Oreos).

Palm Pointe Kindergarteners spent a few weeks learning about fire safety. As a part of their lesson, they created “thank you” cards for local firefighters. The cards were sent to a local station who shared them with the crew. The students were SO EXCITED when they received a picture BACK from the firefighters! It was so rewarding to see that their hard work makes a difference to others!

Manatee K-8’s annual Fall Festival celebrates the hard work and adherence to school-wide expectations by students throughout October. Students in grades K-5 cheered on their teachers as they competed in various fun events. Laughter and cheers filled the air as teachers took part in activities like the donut-eating contest and Red Light, Green Light. The festival not only highlighted the students’ achievements but also fostered a sense of community and school spirit. It was a joyful reminder of the bond between students and teachers, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating next year’s festivities!

Students in the TCHS Criminal Justice Academy recently had the privilege of hosting Mr. Steven Couzens from the Public Defender’s Office in Saint Lucie County. Engaged and eager to learn, the students explored various professional opportunities within the Criminal Justice system and came prepared with insightful questions for Mr. Couzens. October 16th marked the annual Wear Orange for commUNITY day! Fort Pierce Central honored the day by joining together wearing orange to share kindness, promote acceptance, encourage inclusion, and prevent bullying. Color is not only a symbol but a demonstration of our strength, resolve, and commitment to a positive school campus and community culture. Our diversity is our strength and our collaboration benefits Cobra Nation and beyond.

In the eerie halls of Ms. Bass’ art class, a spine-chilling pumpkin painting contest took place. Our ghoulishly talented students unleashed their inner Picassos, transforming mini pumpkins into haunting masterpieces. Titan Born, Titan Bred!    

The Manatee K-8 PTO would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our school staff, families, and friends for making our first fundraiser of the year at Dave & Buster’s a tremendous success. Thanks to the advance Power Up card sales and Spirit Night, we raised nearly $1,500! VGESS hosted a fabulous Garden Community Event over the weekend, where Village Green families, faculty and staff, and community members came together to help rebuild our beautiful garden. Volunteers helped with cutting branches, planting new trees, and creating paths for students to explore the garden. A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who came out to support our efforts to revitalize the garden.  We also donated over 40 banana trees and plants. Bayshore students have been working hard this year to earn their S.P.O.T.S. They had the opportunity to dress up in their favorite character costume and of course they were shining bright.

On Tuesday, October 29, Lincoln Park Academy’s National Junior Honor Society contributed 138 cans of Chef Boyardee to The Giving Concert in honor of Grace Packs.  LPA teacher and NJHS adviser, Dr. Rennaker, asked the members to contribute cans to help Grace Packs accumulate food.  Grace Packs is best known for sending backpacks of food and snacks home, with eligible elementary and middle school students, on Fridays.  9th grade LPA students, Olivia Costa and Victoria Townsel, volunteered to pack up the boxes and deliver them to the auditorium.  These members are also working on two contests: club t-shirt design and … Read More

Ms. Vasquez’s 7th Grade Civics class worked in groups reading and answering questions, then rotated to different stations. While one student read out loud, the others listened, and then they discussed what could be the best answer. They also participated in a Kagan Strategy (Quiz, Quiz, Trade) to review vocabulary words.  

The 9th Annual Indian River Lagoon Science Festival was held on October 26th. Morningside Elementary’s 5th graders presented their energy projects, and our Everglades Ambassadors worked hard to convince our community members to save the Everglades!

For Kids At Hope Day, Bayshore Elementary students and staff participated in multiple activities in celebration. In addition to wearing our yellow & blue, our School Counselors appeared on the Morning Show to present the Four Aces Challenge to our students. In the Four Aces Challenge, students were charged with identifying at least two Aces in their lives. One from their home life and one from school.
