At Treasure Coast High School, Ms. De Leon’s class recently completed a fun and engaging science lesson that had everyone excited about learning! The lesson began with a discussion on how materials undergo changes, sparking curiosity among the students. Ms. De Leon introduced the concept of how baking soda can be altered by different liquids, leading to an intriguing question: Which liquid will cause the most significant change in baking soda? TCHS ROTC Cadets to Participate in the 2025 JROTC Flight Academy Program

Treasure Coast High School Jr. Reserved Officers Training Corps Cadets were selected to participate in the 2025 Sumer Flight Academy program. Cadets Nora Brant, Micheal Brant, and Juan Paez-Aguirre will represent Treasure Coast High School in the 2025 Summer Flight Academy program. This program is an 8-week program where cadets learn the flight principles and learn how to fly one-on-one with instructors. Upon successful completion, cadets may be eligible for their Private Pilot’s License. TCHS Student Receives Questbridge Scholarship

We are thrilled to announce that TCHS senior Zoe S. received a full scholarship through the Questbridge Scholarship program to attend Colby College in Maine. The Questbridge Scholarship program is an intensive process that begins in the student’s junior year and requires three levels of applications and elimination rounds. Zoe will be majoring in Performance, Theater, and Dance, with a minor in Cinema Studies. The Treasure Coast Food Bank has teamed up with Treasure Coast High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) student organization to make a significant impact in our community! According to the National Library of Medicine, bystander CPR can double or triple a person’s chance of survival during cardiac arrest! This past Monday, the Treasure Coast High School ROTC color guard proudly participated in two Veteran’s Day parades, showcasing their dedication and respect for our nation’s veterans. According to the Harvard School of Law, many students show interest in careers in law as early as their high school years. At TCHS, our criminal justice program offers engaging and enriching opportunities for students to connect with accomplished professionals in the field of law and criminal justice. On Thursday, Mr. David Dodd from the State Attorney’s office was our guest speaker for the criminal justice class. TCHS Dance Repertory Company Expanding to New Horizons

The Treasure Coast High School Dance Repertory Company attended the Day of Dance at the University of South Florida in Tampa. The dancers participated in collegiate-level dance classes taught by USF dance professors and danced alongside current dance majors and other Florida high school students. Ms. De Leon’s class read an article about Creative Growth in Oakland, California. Creative Growth is an art center for people with disabilities. Creative Growth gives people with disabilities an opportunity to create, socialize, and display their work in the community.  After reading the article, students had their own chance to express themselves through personal art projects.
