Law Day Art Contest

Sponsored by the Friends of the Rupert J. Smith Law Library, a Law Day Art Contest is being held that is open to all K-12 St. Lucie County public and private school students. Students are asked to submit posters, photographs, or videos about the theme of “Cornerstones of Democracy: Civics, Civility, and Collaboration”. SLPS Students Race to Greatness at the St. Lucie County Fair

SLPS was on display at the St. Lucie County Fair! Schools created their own exhibits with the theme of “Race to Greatness”. The exhibits were judged and cash prizes will be awarded to the winning schools. Congratulations to all! Education’s Shining Stars Announced

The SLPS Talent Development Department had an amazing day with new teachers on the first of five Refining and Improving Starting Educators (RISE) 2 days for 2022-2023! Celebrating the SLPS Schools of Excellence

Congratulations to our Schools of Excellence; Fairlawn Elementary School, Palm Pointe K-8 Educational Research School, and Mosaic Digital Academy! The State Board of Education designates a school as a School of Excellence if the school’s percentage of possible points earned in its school grade calculation is in the 80th percentile or higher for schools comprised of the same grade groupings (elementary, middle, high and combination) for at least two of the last three school years.
