Students in Ms. Morgan’s Media Research class recently combined research, creativity, and cultural learning through an engaging biography project in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. As part of the assignment, students selected an influential Hispanic figure and conducted research to learn more about that individual’s life, accomplishments, and lasting impact. After gathering information from a variety of sources, students organized their findings into creative flip charts that showcased key details about their chosen person. Palm Pointe K-8 4th Graders Take Learning to the Next Level

Students at Palm Pointe K-8 recently demonstrated the power of peer learning as 4th graders from Mrs. Bednar’s class shared their science knowledge with 1st graders in Mrs. Migliore’s class. Through presentations of their science projects, students taught their younger peers about Earth’s rotation, revolution, and the phases of the moon. The Jaguar Battalion 3-Position Air Rifle Team delivered an outstanding performance, earning a commanding 1,020.1 to 839.9 victory over the South Fork Bulldogs. Leading the way was Team Captain Abriana White, whose exceptional performance helped propel the Jaguars to victory while also rewriting the Battalion record book. White made Jaguar Battalion history by setting a new overall individual record of 279.3 and establishing a new individual prone record of 98 points with eight bullseyes. On September 11, St. Lucie West Centennial High School NJROTC cadets gathered at the school’s flagpole to honor and remember the victims, first responders, and families affected by the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. On Friday, September 18, 2026, the Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion participated in the POW/MIA ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Park at 6 pm to pay tribute to Prisoners of War (POW) and those Missing in Action (MIA).
