Fairlawn Elementary was filled with smiles, hugs, and special memories as we celebrated Grandparents Day with two wonderful days of grandparents’ lunches! This special celebration gave our students the opportunity to share a meal and spend quality time with some of the most important people in their lives.
To accommodate all of our wonderful families, Grandparents Day was celebrated over two days. On Monday, our kindergarten, third-grade, and fourth-grade students welcomed their grandparents and special guests to campus for lunch. On Tuesday, it was the turn of our first-, second-, and fifth-grade students to enjoy this special time together.
The cafeteria was filled with laughter and excitement as grandparents and students enjoyed lunch, conversation, and precious time together. For many students, having their grandparents visit school was a very special experience they will remember for years to come.
We are so thankful to all of the grandparents and family members who took the time to join us and make these days so meaningful. Thank you for helping make Grandparents Day at Fairlawn Elementary a wonderful celebration of family, love, and connection!
