On Friday, September 18, 2026, the Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion participated in the POW/MIA ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Park at 6 pm to pay tribute to Prisoners of War (POW) and those Missing in Action (MIA). The event was conducted to honor and show respect to the sacrifices of service members who never returned home.
Cadets stood in formation, held a candlelight vigil in honor of the POW/MIA, presented the colors, and took part in a solemn tribute that reminded the community of the bravery and sacrifices of all our American service members. The cadets-maintained discipline and professionalism throughout the ceremony, creating a powerful atmosphere of remembrance.
The event demonstrated the Battalion’s dedication to honoring military traditions and remembering the courage of our POW/MIA service members.
