Dr. Galloway’s sixth-grade students recently showcased their scientific knowledge and creativity through an impressive project focused on Earth’s layers and atmospheric structure. Students were challenged to recreate and label the different layers, resulting in a collection of outstanding models that demonstrated both academic understanding and artistic talent.
The projects featured carefully crafted representations of Earth’s crust, mantle, outer core, and inner core, with students using a variety of materials and innovative designs to bring their learning to life. Through detailed labeling, colorful displays, and thoughtful construction, students demonstrated a strong grasp of scientific concepts while applying their knowledge in a hands-on and engaging way.
The sample projects highlighted the students’ dedication to accuracy, creativity, and attention to detail. From three-dimensional models to informative displays, each project reflected the hard work and effort students invested throughout the learning process. These engaging activities not only strengthened students’ understanding of Earth science but also encouraged critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
We are proud of Dr. Galloway’s sixth-grade students for their exceptional work. Their creativity, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellence made this project a tremendous success and a wonderful example of learning in action at Forest Grove Middle School.
