On February 27, 2026, the Jaguar Battalion conducted its annual flag retirement ceremony, a cornerstone tradition dedicated to the dignified disposal of unserviceable American flags. The process began with a coordinated collection effort from January 14th  to January 28th, during which designated Cadets and their respective Company Commanders gathered flags from predetermined neighborhoods located near Port St. Lucie High School. A Day of Discovery and New Beginnings at Morningside Mrs. Eibl’s 2nd graders brought their Life Cycles study to life as they watched tiny chicks hatch right in their classroom. Through hands-on embryology, students carefully observed each stage of development, recorded their findings in journals, and asked thoughtful questions that showed growing understanding. Ms. Selinsky’s 7th-grade accelerated math students brought geometry to life through an exciting Dance Dance Revolution–themed lesson focused on identifying and applying angle relationships.
