Lincoln Park Academy Band Department Hosts Successful Mouthpiece Party Day

On Saturday, August 29, Lincoln Park Academy’s Band Program welcomed more than 70 future musicians to its annual Mouthpiece Party Day. Students had the opportunity to test mouthpieces and instruments, helping them find the best fit as they begin their musical journey. The event also featured games, prizes, and an informational parent meeting designed to help families prepare for a successful year in band. The band room was filled with excitement as students explored instrument options, met fellow musicians, and learned about the opportunities ahead. Mouthpiece Party Day was a fantastic start to another great year of music at LPA.  The event helped build excitement for the year ahead while introducing students and families to the strong sense of community that makes the LPA Band Program so special.
