Morningside Elementary recently showcased their talents by sending three teams to the Odyssey of the Mind State Competition, demonstrating remarkable creativity and teamwork. SLWK8 Sweet Learning in Mrs. Quiles’s Class

Third grade students at St. Lucie West K8 enjoy super sweet learning in Mrs. Quiles’s Class! Topic 12 is all about graphs and data, and what better way to make it fun than with jellybeans? Students got hands-on with learning by collecting data from jellybeans (yum!), then used that information to create tally charts and scaled bar graphs. From determining appropriate scales to solving one- and two-step problems based on their graphs, our students are turning data into delicious discoveries! Learning is always meaningful—and extra fun—when it’s interactive and student-centered. Springtime Fun at Bayshore Elementary

At Bayshore Elementary, our caring counselors recently organized delightful springtime activities to uplift spirits and show appreciation for both students and staff. The event featured a paper egg hunt where teachers, staff, cafeteria workers, front office personnel, and support staff eagerly participated. Each person collected seven eggs, each worth specific points, with the highest scorer earning a special reward. All staff also received bracelets and stickers with positive messages. Centennial Criminal Justice students recently had the unique opportunity to participate in a Civil Discourse session led by Judge Maynard, alongside several local attorneys and legal staff who volunteered their time.
