The St. Lucie West Centennial E.A.G.L.E.S. (Empowered Adults Gaining Life and Employability Skills) are reaching new heights as they acquire valuable skills working in the school cafeteria. Throughout the school year, these dedicated individuals have been collaborating with the cafeteria staff, learning to prepare various food items such as egg packs, salsa packs, and premade meals for lunch.
The partnership has seen the E.A.G.L.E.S. actively involved in making pizza, sandwiches for field trips, and parfaits, significantly enhancing their speed and productivity. This progress is a testament to the supportive and nurturing environment provided by the Centennial cafeteria workers.
The E.A.G.L.E.S. program not only equips participants with essential life and employability skills but also fosters a sense of community and teamwork. Kudos to the E.A.G.L.E.S. and the Centennial cafeteria team for their hard work and dedication!
