Students from the Student Government Association (SGA) and the Spanish Honors Society joined forces on Saturday, April 19th, to celebrate Earth Day with a significant cleanup initiative at Stuart Beach. Demonstrating their commitment to environmental stewardship, the students arrived promptly at 9:00 AM and dedicated two hours to collecting litter and debris along the shoreline.
The collaborative effort saw a strong turnout of enthusiastic student volunteers and teachers who worked diligently until 11:00 AM, making a real difference in preserving the natural beauty of the popular local beach. This initiative not only showcased the students’ dedication to their planet but also provided a valuable opportunity for them to represent their school in a positive light and engage directly with their local environment. The students enjoyed the opportunity to contribute to their community while celebrating Earth Day through meaningful action.
