Fairlawn Elementary’s first-graders had an out-of-this-world adventure during their recent field trip to the Indian River State College Planetarium! At Manatee Academy, student support is always within reach. For quite some time, Dean Wallman and Dean Damas have implemented a unique approach we proudly call “Deans on Wheels.” While they continue to manage responsibilities from their offices, they also travel throughout grade level pods and hallways with mobile carts, bringing discipline directly to students and classrooms. Fort Pierce Westwood Academy Took 2nd in the State at the West Coast Ocean Bowl

Five students woke up at 3am and sacrificed their Valentines Day Saturday to travel and conquer the West Coast Ocean Bowl, dubbed the Spoonbill Bowl.  It has been five years since we last took 1st and 2nd place on the East Coast. Jaella Jones, Mariana Ruppert, William Hussey, Ava Mendoza, and Team Captain Roslyn Tran went UNDEFEATED for 9 rounds to earn a spot in the finals.  In the end, Fort Pierce Westwood placed 2ND in the STATE to bring home a trophy, medals, and cash prizes. Fairlawn Elementary’s second graders put their engineering skills to the test during a fun and creative STEM activity called “Valentine’s Day Sticky Structures!” Students used heart-shaped fruit snacks and toothpicks to complete 12 different shape-building challenges. Oak Hammock Ospreys Take Flight During Elementary PE

During Elementary PE at Oak Hammock K-8, Coach Branim guided our Ospreys through a series of exciting Winter Olympics–themed activities designed to build teamwork, sportsmanship, and overall physical fitness. Students rotated through speed skating, curling, and skiing challenges, each one encouraging them to stay active while proudly representing our Osprey spirit. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as students supported one another, celebrated successes, and embraced friendly competition.
