The Fort Pierce Central High School Jazz Program reached an exciting milestone at this year’s District Jazz Music Performance Assessment. Both Jazz I and Jazz II earned straight Superior ratings, the highest score possible at the event. These results highlight the strong musicianship, discipline, and teamwork shown by every student involved.
Jazz II received special recognition for achieving a Superior rating during their first performance in school history. This impressive debut reflects the steady growth of the jazz program and the commitment of its young musicians. These outstanding results are also a credit to the directors, whose guidance and instruction helped students prepare with confidence. Their leadership continues to strengthen the fine arts community at Fort Pierce Central.
