TCHS Drawing 2 Class

Students in the Drawing 2 class at Treasure Coast High School are currently working on still-life drawings. Students are focusing on proportions and value, and introducing charcoal and ink wash. They are creating some amazing pieces of art. Titan Born, Titan Bred!

Jaguar Battalions First Blood Drive 2023-2024

On Tuesday, September 12, The Port Saint Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion conducted our first Blood Drive of the year. With the help of our Cadets, we were given an opportunity to help serve the people of Port Saint Lucie. Thanks to our Cadets, members of One Blood and teachers here at Port Saint Lucie High School, we were able to get enough blood to save over 200+ lives.

TCHS Drawing 1 Class

Students in Drawing 1 at Treasure Coast High School are currently working on a group project to enhance teamwork. Every student has a string, no one can touch the marker, and then they have to replicate the drawing on the projector. Our students are having a blast with this project. Titan Born, Titan Bred!

SLW Centennial High School Attendance Incentives

Assistant Principal Susan Mannion and school social worker, Shemair Dorelus, paired up to recognize and reward students who are coming to school regularly and on time.  They distributed snacks and water at the parent drop offline as students were being dropped off for school.

Lawnwood Leopards are On the Move!

Coach Paul’s fifth-grade PE students enjoyed a game of Monster Ball. The students used small balls to move the big ball to the opposing team’s side.  Students enjoyed the game as they used overhand and underhand throws to score points.

TCHS Drawing 3 Honors Class

Students in Drawing 3 Honors at Treasure Coast High School completed neurographic doodles and a battle of the bands activity to warm up for their upcoming Synesthesia Project. Synesthesia is when your brain routes sensory information through multiple unrelated senses, causing you to experience more than one sense simultaneously. Titan Born, Titan Bred!

PSLHS JROTC Visits Navy Seal Museum

On September 6th, 2023, the Port Saint Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion staff toured the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum located in Fort Pierce where all cadets took part in a multi-staged obstacle course and rappelled off a 40ft platform. Lastly, all cadets toured the inside of the museum to view the exhibit of the Cold War and World War II gallery where cadets saw real replicas of the equipment used in action on the battlefield. Overall, this experience was a great success.

Port St. Lucie High School Students Learn More about 9/11

On Monday, 9/11, SLCSO Deputy Milton Rosario addressed students at Port St. Lucie High School during a 9/11 presentation that highlighted his experience working as an NYPD police officer that day. Lawnwood Leopards are Learning About the Sunshine State

Fourth graders from Mrs. Gleason’s class worked collaboratively as they located and labeled the physical features of Florida. They identified cities, attractions, and bodies of water. They also interpreted political and physical map elements by using a map key and compass rose. GO LEOPARDS!

Cobras Learning Leadership Techniques from the Pros!

Students in Ms. Darlene Brown’s class welcomed honored guests into their class for the day. Cobra staff members took time from their busy schedules to speak with students in Leadership Techniques classes. Savanna Ridge Elementary PTO hosted a Chuck E. Cheese fundraiser night on Friday, 9/15/23. Our Crane families and teachers had a great time together helping to raise funds for our school. We even had Chuck E. Cheese visit campus before the event!

Fairlawn’s Title 1 Curriculum Night

Fairlawn Elementary hosted its annual Title One Curriculum Night for all stakeholders. Attendees learned about federal programs, school curriculum, and state testing. Thank you to all those who attended!

SRE – Attendance Matters!

Savanna Ridge Elementary administration, along with Deputy Spencer, thanked every family that arrived with their children on time, by handing out sweet treats to each family. We appreciate all of our families and are proud of our daily attendance rate of 94%.

Morningside Kicks-Off “Girls on the Run”

Morningside Elementary kicked off the first day of GIRLS ON THE RUN this week!The girls and Coach Black, Coach Matos, & Coach Panaccione had an amazing time of running, team-building, and making connections! Girls will also learn skills including self-motivation, self-awareness, and self-confidence. Girls will learn about empowerment and build rich connections with others. We are excited for an incredible GOTR season this year! Way to go Blue Jays!
