Congratulations to the Black Talon Drill Competition Team of SLW Centennial! The unit earned a spot and competed in the Lake Howell Area 11/12 NJROTC Florida State Drill competition in Winter Park, Florida.  They competed against 20 other Navy JROTC units. The theme was “Missing School = Missing Out.” Teachers and members of the attendance team greeted parents at the carline and thanked them for bringing their children to school on time. Throughout February, SLW Centennial High School celebrated Black History Month with engaging and educational activities. The festivities included weekly trivia, a 90’s Black music karaoke session, and an arts and essay contest focused on understanding and embracing diversity. Reid, a Senior Admission Counselor from the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, New York.
