On a bright and engaging day, the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Drone Team made a special visit to our school to demonstrate the innovative use of drones in modern policing. This event was a part of our ongoing unit on Careers in Criminal Justice, aimed at providing students with a comprehensive understanding of various roles within the field.

The demonstration was led by experienced members of the Drone Team, who showcased the advanced technology and capabilities of their drones. Students were captivated as they watched live demonstrations of drone maneuvers, surveillance techniques, and real-time data collection. The team explained how drones are used in various scenarios, such as search and rescue operations, traffic monitoring, and crime scene investigations.
