SLW Centennial High School recently implemented an attendance initiative to increase daily attendance. The theme was “Missing School = Missing Out.” Teachers and members of the attendance team greeted parents at the carline and thanked them for bringing their children to school on time.
As a token of appreciation, parents received an attendance card with information on who to contact if their student’s absence needs to be excused in the future. They were also offered a sweet or salty treat, adding a delightful touch to their morning.
This initiative is just one of the many activities Centennial High School has undertaken to promote regular attendance and ensure our students’ success. We are grateful for the continued support of our parents and look forward to more creative ways to engage our school community.
