On Saturday, April 12, 2025, several of Ms. Bosque’s fifth-grade students participated in the Elementary Science Showcase at the St. Lucie Public Schools District Office. Completing a science project deepens students’ understanding of a scientific investigation, and it requires them to apply scientific inquiry, a multifaceted activity. On Saturday, April 12th, VPK teachers, Daniela Castro (Windmill Point) and Victoria Frazier (Northport K-8), engaged families in a Math and Movement graphing activity at the Family Fun Fair. The Lawnwood Leadership Team hosted a PM3 Parent Night where parents learned about Florida’s statewide standardized assessments in English Language Arts (ELA) Reading, Writing, and Mathematics, which align with the Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards.
