At St. Lucie West Centennial High School, a group of Outboard Marine students recently earned industry certifications in engines, electronics, and electronic systems. Students went to the Nursing Program and learned about sanitation and how to properly don and doff gloves. In their music resource class, 4th grade students at MSE eagerly learned to play the song “Rabbits” on the glockenspiel. Students began by reviewing both the instrument and how to read simple musical notes. The students practiced carefully, focusing on hitting the correct notes at the right times. It was a great experience for our students to observe how their environments respond to natural weather events. Bayshore recently hosted a Mental Health Awareness night, bringing together students, families, and staff to promote mental well-being.
