Forest Grove Algebra and Geometry students were hard at work in Bulldog Bootcamp, a focused learning initiative designed to help students strengthen essential math skills ahead of their midyear exams. On October 31st, FGMS hosted a lively PBIS Storybook Character Dance to celebrate students who consistently demonstrated positive behavior throughout the month. Forest Grove Middle School’s 7th Grade students welcomed guest speakers for a FEMA presentation. It was a great experience for our students to observe how their environments respond to natural weather events. This is a summary of the presentation: The storm water model was in front of the students. Students were told about FEMA’s roll in mitigation of natural disasters. What is missing from our model? With a combined GPA of 3.3, a 93% daily attendance rate, daily after school practices, 87% improvement in overall behavior, late afterschool and weekend games, one championship win, and five berths to semifinals we were able to celebrate the end of our athletic season with a trip to Clover Park for Education Day!
