The Chart Your Course Marine & Maritime Career Expo offered Forest Grove Middle School 8th graders an exciting opportunity to explore career possibilities within the marine and maritime industries. Hosted by the Fort Pierce Yacht Club Foundation in partnership with St. Lucie Public Schools’ Career & Technical Education department, the event introduced students to the many thriving career pathways available right here on the Treasure Coast.
During the expo, students participated in hands‑on demonstrations and listened to industry professionals share what skills, training, and education are needed for success. Forest Grove students expressed genuine enthusiasm as they discovered new interests and learned how these growing fields could shape their futures.
