St Lucie Culinary Arts instructors participated in the St Lucie West Kitchen Krawl hosted by Texas Roadhouse! Sarah Kirk, Store Marketer and Tanner Hedberg, Assistant Kitchen Manager welcomed the culinary instructors with open arms. The Krawl focuses on partnerships to enhance job opportunities and enrich culinary classrooms with relevant industry needs. Tanner hosted a detailed kitchen tour explaining “soup to nuts” and highlighting the entry-level kitchen positions. The visit highlight was talking with Gary Gerena, a 2019 Culinary Program graduate, from Fort Pierce Central High working at Texas Roadhouse! We are very proud of Gary and our culinary students.
