Texas Road House Kitchen Krawl

St Lucie Culinary Arts instructors participated in the St Lucie West Kitchen Krawl hosted by Texas Roadhouse! Sarah Kirk, Store Marketer and Tanner Hedberg, Assistant Kitchen Manager welcomed the culinary instructors with open arms.  The Krawl focuses on partnerships to enhance job opportunities and enrich culinary classrooms with relevant industry needs.  Tanner hosted a detailed kitchen tour explaining “soup to nuts” and highlighting the entry-level kitchen positions. The visit highlight was talking with Gary Gerena, a 2019 Culinary Program graduate, from Fort Pierce Central High working at Texas Roadhouse!  We are very proud of Gary and our culinary students. The Texas Roadhouse hospitality wrapped up with a delicious Texas Barbecue lunch.  Big thanks to our partners at Texas Roadhouse Sarah Kirk, Rick Kirk and Tanner Hedberg!  Special thanks to Jen Tremblay, Culinary Instructor at St Lucie West K8 who coordinated the Krawl for the teachers.
