Bus Driver Appreciation

Palm Pointe hosted their annual Bus Driver Appreciation Breakfast on Thursday, September 28th. PPE appreciates all their bus drivers do each day bringing our Rockets to and from school safely! Each driver received a gift, enjoyed special drawings, a delicious breakfast, and hopefully left knowing how much we appreciate all they do!

Parade of Dads at Palm Pointe

Palm Pointe honors male role models in Dads Take Your Child to School Day! What a great event to honor our fathers and ask for their commitment to stay involved. Over 300 male role models brought their child to school on Wednesday, September 27th. DMMS Participates in IRSC Four County Honors Choir Concert

  Twenty students representing Dan McCarty Middle School recently joined their voices with other middle school singers from around the Treasure Coast area to participate in the Four County Middle School Honors Choir at Indian River State College. The students were selected based on their musicianship skills and the recommendation of their chorus director, Dr. Rolanda A. Jones.

Principal’s Panther Praise PBIS Event

Fort Pierce Westwood began a new, school-wide PBIS event with their students this year.  The Principal’s Panther Praise 200 Club (100 Club for MOA campus) requires randomly chosen teachers and staff to identify students who meet our ROARS expectations in and out of class each day.  Ten tickets are given out each day to be distributed to students for R-respect, O-on task, A-accountable, R-responsibility, S-safety. Gaines Academy Welcomes Dads

On September 27th, SGA had a wonderful time celebrating fathers and caring adults who change the lives of our students everyday.  The morning started with an instrumental interlude by SGA music teacher Mr. Pena and students along with photo booth opportunities.  After a brief presentation and breakfast, the fathers and caring adults were eager to pledge to be more involved in their children’s education.

Palm Pointe faculty, staff and middle school students are all “fired up” because they had the opportunity to hear a powerful message about the importance of transitioning a growth mindset into the will to achieve from guest speaker Principal Baruti Kafele.
