Palm Pointe faculty, staff and middle school students are all “fired up” because they had the opportunity to hear a powerful message about the importance of transitioning a growth mindset into the will to achieve from guest speaker Principal Baruti Kafele. Kafele, a nationally-renowned public speaker, author, and award winning former educator and principal, is a specialist in “attitude transformation.” His book, Closing the Attitude Gap, speaks to the importance of being mission minded, and developing the necessary passion, purpose, and drive to persevere through challenges in order to succeed in the classroom and in life.
