Mosaic Digital Academy students in grades 5-8 enjoyed a cross-curricular field trip to the St. Lucie County Regional History Center and St. Lucie County Aquarium. On Friday, November 15, 2024, the Treasure Coast Builders Association came out to put on a Careers in Construction Day. This event was created to show our students the various careers that are available in our area. Our Stallions moved through 5 different stations ranging from Electrical, Carpentry, Screen Enclosure, Impact Door/Window installation, and our very own SLPS Transporation station regarding Diesel Mechanics. Students spent the morning learning about each career and participating in hands-on events.  At the end of the event, students learned more about professionalism in the workplace.

  TCHS students took a significant step beyond the classroom by visiting the Holocaust Memorial. This field trip was not just an educational excursion but a deeply moving experience that brought historical concepts to life in a powerful way. Each day, through Acaletics, first-grade teachers at Lakewood Park introduce and expose students to a variety of math concepts. Village Green Environmental Studies School hosted a successful food drive to help our school families in need over the holiday season. The grade level with the most donations earned of items earned extra recess time and get to play BINGO in the cafeteria. The Port St. Lucie High School Army JROTC Jaguar Battalions Male and Female Teams traveled to Brooksville, Florida to compete in the Army JROTC High School State Championships on November 16th. The Raider competition consisted of 5 events: a 3.1 mile run, a 1-mile litter carry, tire flip, and a Fitness challenge, as well as constructing and crossing a rope bridge. The Jaguar Battalion competed against the top 40 Army JROTC Program in the state of Florida.  The Male team finished 11th place overall, and Female team placed 10th overall. Congratulations, Males and Females, for such an amazing raider season.
