A BIG Shout Out goes to the Cadets from the Fort Pierce Westwood Army JROTC Program for volunteering their time to support an incredibly worthwhile cause (while also starting off the Thanksgiving Holiday in a great way). The Cadets worked with the Treasure Coast Blue Star Mothers Organization, packing close to (200) Care Packages for US Military service members who are deployed all around the world. The Blue Star Mothers are a group of women who are mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, foster mothers, and legal guardians who have children who are currently serving in the military, guard/reserves, or have children who are veterans.
It was an amazing opportunity for the Cadets to put ‘Selfless Service’ into action.
We are incredibly proud of these young leaders for continuing to make the “Panther Presence” felt in our local community, and now “Worldwide” as well!
