Referendum Renewal

An important Referendum Renewal is on the November ballot.  It provides a school resource officer on every campus to ensure our children’s safety, supports the recruitment and retention of high-quality teachers, expands mental health services for students and supports special programs such as art and music in our schools.   Early voting begins October 24th and runs through November 5th.  Election Day is November 8th.   For more information, please visit Referendum Information – St Lucie Public Schools.   

2022-2023 SLPS College Fair

Join St. Lucie Public Schools on Thursday, November 3rd, for the annual college fair from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Havert L. Fenn Center. Over 50 college and university representatives will be there to meet with prospective students. You will also be able to participate in financial aid sessions to get valuable information about paying for college. SLPS students in grades 9 through 12 are encouraged to attend. Have your questions answered by college and university reps as you speak with them one-on-one. See you at the SLPS College Fair!

SLPS Launches Summer Feeding Program

Starting June 13th, SLPS is hosting a Summer Feeding Program, offering FREE food for children and teens, ages 2-18. All schools in St. Lucie County are open feeding sites for the community and students can go to any school for meals. Students that are not enrolled for summer school or camp must sign-in at the front office prior to receiving a meal. CareerSource Research Coast Extends Deadline for Summer of Success

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla., CareerSource Research Coast (CSRC) has extended their deadline to May 20 for signing up for the annual Summer of Success program. “Summer of Success is a great opportunity for teens to get a taste of various types of employment they may not have known were available to them while earning a paycheck as well as learning financial responsibility with budgeting and saving,” said Brian Bauer, CEO of CSRC. March is “Arts in Our Schools Month”, an annual celebration that showcases the accomplishments of students in dance, music, theater, and the visual arts nationwide. St. Lucie Public School students showcased their own artistic accomplishments by displaying their artworks in the SLPS District Office! SLPS staff was treated to a wide range of different artistic mediums submitted from various elementary, middle, and high schools in the district.
