St. Lucie West Centennial High School Legal Assistant Students Learn from Judge Tony Schwab

On April 15, Centennial was honored to welcome Chief Judge Tony Schwab to campus for an engaging and informative visit with our Certified Legal Assistant students. During his presentation, Judge Schwab provided valuable insight into the role of the legal assistant, as well as the educational and professional pathways to becoming an attorney and a judge. He shared personal experiences from his career as a prosecutor, private attorney, and judge, offering students real-world perspective on the legal field. Judge Schwab also discussed some of his most challenging and memorable cases, helping students better understand the realities and responsibilities of the profession. The session was highly interactive, with students asking thoughtful questions throughout and gaining inspiration and clarity about future career opportunities in law and the justice system.
