During lunch periods, Mr. Swalwell’s AICE Travel and Tourism students proudly hosted an informational booth in partnership with Visit St. Lucie. As part of their class project, students shared engaging and informative details about exciting places to visit throughout our beautiful city, helping to highlight local attractions and promote tourism within our community. This hands-on experience allowed students to apply classroom learning in a real-world setting while confidently engaging with their peers. SLW Centennial High School kicked off the year with celebrations for Eagles who proved that progress matters. 9th and 10th graders who demonstrated growth or proficiency on their ELA FAST PM2 enjoyed a well-deserved moment at the Eagle Culture Snack Tent—because every step forward deserves recognition. At Centennial, we believe effort and improvement pave the way to success. Bootcamp & Basketball at Centennial! On Friday, January 9th, SLW Centennial High School hosted an exciting afternoon that combined academic focus and school spirit. Students in Algebra 1, Geometry, and ELA (9th & 10th grade)  kicked off with Bootcamp in the cafeteria right after dismissal at 4 PM. Then, they were rewarded with tickets to the big game against Treasure Coast High School from 4–8 PM. St. Lucie West Centennial High School opened its doors to students, parents, and community members for a special EOC ELA and Math Bootcamp on Saturday, December 6.
