Dan McCarty Middle School proudly hosted its Third Annual Black History Program, and each year this celebration continues to grow in impact, excellence, and community engagement.
The evening featured powerful student performances that reflected confidence, culture, and scholarship. Through music, spoken word, dance, and dramatic presentations, our students honored the legacy of Black leaders with poise and authenticity.
A highlight of the night was the Living Wax Museum, where students embodied influential historical figures and brought their stories to life with research, passion, and precision. Guests also enjoyed a vibrant student art display showcasing creativity, heritage, and pride. Every element of the program was designed and executed by our very own students.
The celebration was made even more meaningful by the strong presence of our community. Families, local businesses, and members of the Divine Nine Greek-letter organizations came together in unity and support.
This annual tradition is more than a program—it is a vibrant display of culture, scholarship, and community. At Dan McCarty, we celebrate Black history with pride, purpose, and excellence.
