We are incredibly proud of our four phenomenal students — Joel Butler, Tyler Lubien, Jennifer Nguyen & Jose Rangel — who represented Dan McCarty Middle School at the Project Citizen Fair!
Their project was a true call to action, advocating for improved classroom technology and sustainable public school funding to ensure districts can repair and replace devices, upgrade internet access, and provide every student with the tools needed to succeed. Their message was clear, powerful, and rooted in a genuine commitment to student learning.
This labor of love showcased not only their research and presentation skills but also their courage to speak up for meaningful change. They competed on a big stage with confidence, poise, and excellence — and they made us shine!
A special thank you to Mrs. Furones for her leadership and guidance throughout this incredible journey.
