TCHS Engineering & Manufacturing PreApprenticeship to Apprenticeship Connection

Treasure Coast High School’s (TCHS) Engineering and Manufacturing program students learned about Apprenticeship opportunities available to them after high school graduation.  Students in the program were then able to register for one of two available pre-apprenticeships (Welding or Industrial manufacturing) while enrolled in the program at TCHS.  Thank you to Ms. Colleen Gill (CareerSource Research Coast – Apprenticeship Navigator) for presenting to Mr. Phil DePuy’s students. TCHS Drawing 3 Honors Class

Students in Drawing 3 Honors at Treasure Coast High School completed neurographic doodles and a battle of the bands activity to warm up for their upcoming Synesthesia Project. Synesthesia is when your brain routes sensory information through multiple unrelated senses, causing you to experience more than one sense simultaneously. Titan Born, Titan Bred!

TCHS Drawing 2 Class

Students in the Drawing 2 class at Treasure Coast High School are currently working on still-life drawings. Students are focusing on proportions and value, and introducing charcoal and ink wash. They are creating some amazing pieces of art. Titan Born, Titan Bred!

TCHS Drawing 1 Class

Students in Drawing 1 at Treasure Coast High School are currently working on a group project to enhance teamwork. Every student has a string, no one can touch the marker, and then they have to replicate the drawing on the projector. Our students are having a blast with this project. Titan Born, Titan Bred!

TCHS Dance Repertory Company Expanding to New Horizons

The Treasure Coast High School Dance Repertory Company attended the Day of Dance at the University of South Florida in Tampa. The dancers participated in collegiate-level dance classes taught by USF dance professors and danced alongside current dance majors and other Florida high school students. They also enjoyed an eclectic and impressive college dance concert. The dancers are fulfilled and inspired!   Titan Born, Titan Bred!

TCHS Criminal Justice Trained and Ready

Treasure Coast High School Criminal Justice students participated in Florida Public Service Association (FPSA) training on the teacher development day (10-26-18). The students practiced the following techniques: handcuffing, building searches, cover vs. concealment, interpersonal skills, weapon retention, and radio communications. The students performed exceptionally well.  The FPSA state competition takes place in March 2019 in Orlando Florida.  

TCHS Criminal Justice Academy: Where Futures Begin

The Treasure Coast High School Criminal Justice Academy offers a comprehensive, multi-year program aimed at preparing students for careers in law enforcement, public safety, and legal services. Students receive a blend of rigorous academic instruction and hands-on training, earning industry-recognized certifications. The first year introduces the criminal justice system’s core components, while the second focuses on 911 Emergency Telecommunications Certification, enhancing skills in crisis management and public safety operations. In the third year, students can become Certified Legal Assistants, gaining vital knowledge in legal research and crime scene investigation. Students in the TCHS Criminal Justice Academy recently had the privilege of hosting Mr. Steven Couzens from the Public Defender’s Office in Saint Lucie County. TCHS Counselors’ Corner

Treasure Coast High School’s Guidance Team initiated monthly Counselors’ Corner gatherings.  These meetings are designed for parents and guardians to meet the counselors of TCHS as well as have their voices heard and allow them to learn about some of the programs, resources, logistics, and roles of individuals at TCHS and the District. The kick-off meeting served as a meet-and-greet with coffee, tea, and tasty breakfast items prepared by the chefs-in-training from the Titan Culinary Arts Academy. TCHS Color Presents at Orlando Magic’s Hometown Heroes

Members of the Treasure Coast High School’s Varsity Color Guard were honored to be invited to present the colors at the Orlando Magic’s Hometown Heroes game on Friday, November 11, in honor of Veterans Day. The team, commanded by Cadet Major Rachel Lee, also included Cadet Lt Col Amanda Huntington, Cadet 1st Lt Jayden Beiter, and Cadet  Lt 1st Lt David Ritchie.

TCHS College App Day

TCHS Coach Kelly Named FABC Coach of the Year

Pat Kelly, who this season guided the Treasure Coast High School boys basketball team to the best record in the program’s 12-year history, has been named the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches Class 9A Coach of the Year. Under Kelly, the Titans started 16-0, finished 26-2, won their second consecutive District 8-9A title and advanced to the Region 2-9A semifinals before losing to 2017 state champion Kissimmee-Osceola. “It’s nice to be recognized by my peers,” Kelly said. “It’s a reflection of the fact that we had a group of kids who came together and played well and were persistent in trying to accomplish their … Read More
