TCHS Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

TCHS Cadets Support Area Veterans and “Honor Flight”

On Saturday, October 17th the Treasure  Coast HS AFJROTC participated in a huge ceremony honoring our veterans along with the Honor Flight organization.  Cadets presented our nations colors to kick off the ceremony and then accomplished a flag folding ceremony for the veterans.  Congressman Brian Mast made remarks to the veterans as well, and “challenge coins” were presented to all veterans in attendance.  Veterans were thrilled with the ceremony honoring their service and appreciated the cadet’s efforts to recognize them.

TCHS Business Students Compete at FBLA State Competition

International Business Academy students from Treasure Coast High School (TCHS) attended the Future Business Leaders of America State Leadership Competition, with over 4500 students in Orlando, Florida, themed “Leave Your Mark”. Students had an opportunity to compete and learn during this fun-filled, fast-paced week during spring break. TCHS Boy’s Golf Team Wins Championship

Congratulations to the Treasure Coast High School Boy’s Golf Team who won the Al Griffith St. Lucie County Championship for the first time in school history. 2023 County Champions! Titan Born, Titan Bred!

TCHS Boys Bowling Scores!

The TCHS Boys Bowling Team placed 6th out of 15 teams at the Kegel Bowling Center Tournament! The Kegel Training Center offers bowling training and is where many Bowling pros offer their expertise to young, aspiring bowlers.  TCHS had the highest score for the St Lucie District!  

TCHS BizCom

Business partners toured Treasure Coast High School during the 2018 BizCom Showcase.  Visitors to Titan County visited classrooms and heard first-hand from students about the value of rigorous programs such as international business, advanced manufacturing/engineering, culinary arts, digital video, criminal justice, health science, biotechnology, and more. Guests also enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by culinary arts students.    

TCHS Band Earns Prestigious Award

Mr. Luke Hall and The Symphonic Band 1 of Treasure Coast High School earned the Otto J. Kraushaar Award, which is the highest award bands in the state of Florida can earn. This honor is given to bands that earn a perfect record of straight superior ratings from each adjudicator at Marching, District Concert, and State Concert Music Performance Assessments throughout and entire school year. This is the first time the Titan band program has earned this award.

Treasure Coast High School Band Displays Their Hard Work at Crown Jewel

Treasure Coast High School’s band earned straight superiors in all categories at Crown Jewel. This is an incredible accomplishment for them and is a testament to their hard work as a whole! They also took home Best in Class Percussion and Guard, Best Percussion Overall, and 1st Runner-Up in the Diamond Class! We are so impressed with our students and their leaders! TCHS Band Director Receives Award

TCHS is proud to announce that Mr. Luke Hall is a recipient of the Tom Bishop award for 2016. This is a very prestigious award given by the Florida Band Association to select band directors in the state. The criteria includes significant improvement in MPA scores and an increase in overall band membership numbers during their tenure.

TCHS Attends UCF

Students at Treasure Coast High School had the opportunity to attend a field trip to UCF on November 2nd. The students were enthralled and captivated with the experience and learned all about what UCF has to offer. These Titans are ready for collegiate success! Titan Born, Titan Bred!

TCHS Assists With Crime Prevention

Two TCHS Criminal Justice Interns (Matt Feirra and Noah Durran) did an amazing job helping out at a PSLPD Crime Prevention/Child Safety event at Old Navy in Tradition last weekend. The store manager was very complimentary of the help they provided. Our very own SRD Brown stated that PSLPD Sergeant Dobler and Officer Lushbaugh were very impressed.

TCHS Artists Showcase Their Spooky Skills

In the eerie halls of Ms. Bass’ art class, a spine-chilling pumpkin painting contest took place. Our ghoulishly talented students unleashed their inner Picassos, transforming mini pumpkins into haunting masterpieces. Titan Born, Titan Bred!    

TCHS Art Headed to Washington D.C.

Ty Nguyen (11) of Treasure Coast High School took 3rd place in the Annual Congressional Art Competition.  His beautiful photograph called “Childhood Memories” will now be displayed in Washington for one year. TCHS Art Crawl Success

On April 10 – 14, the Fine Art and Performing Art students of Treasure Coast High School hosted their Annual IMAGINE art show. This year, the show was hosted at TCHS. Visual Arts (Drawing, Painting, Graphic Design and Photography) and Performing Arts (Dance, Acting and Singing) were all a part of this show.  During the day, many teachers brought their classes to the visual arts to experience photography, painting, drawing and graphic design. TCHS Applied Engineering Academy Students in Action

Treasure Coast High School is home to amazing, student-centered academies, Applied Engineering being one of them. Student Chloe Thaxter sets the oxy-acetelyne flame in her advanced manufacturing technology class. Chloe is a junior at Treasure Coast High School. When she graduates, she plans to become a welder. Student Elijah Hernandez is uploading the CNC Program in his applied engineering technology class. The CNC Program allows students to do manual processes automatically using code. Elijah is a senior at Treasure Coast High School. When he graduates, he plans to be a mechanical engineer in the United States Air Force.
