Treasure Coast High School’s Guidance Team initiated monthly Counselors’ Corner gatherings. These meetings are designed for parents and guardians to meet the counselors of TCHS as well as have their voices heard and allow them to learn about some of the programs, resources, logistics, and roles of individuals at TCHS and the District.
The kick-off meeting served as a meet-and-greet with coffee, tea, and tasty breakfast items prepared by the chefs-in-training from the Titan Culinary Arts Academy.
Data Specialist Sheila Nobel went over basic Skyward accessibility, and Principal Susan Seal along with all the seven school counselors socialized with parents and addressed questions and concerns they had. A needs assessment was provided in order to determine the most relevant topics for future Counselors’ Corner sessions.
