Lincoln Park students raise funds for Heart Association

During the month of April and culminating with FCAT week, students at Lincoln Park Academy raised over $5,700 in which all proceeds went to the American Heart Association. The monies raised far exceeded the school’s original goal of $2,000 and proved LPA is a school that cares about health and community! Lincoln Park Students Participate in Nitrogen Cycle Lab at HBOI

The IB students at Lincoln Park Academy are putting their Aquaculture knowledge to the test at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute with Dr. Jim Masterson.  Dr. Masterson worked with students in testing water quality using colorimetry techniques. Colorimetry uses colored compounds to determine the concentration of a target chemical compound in water analysis.  

Lincoln Park senior Todd Condon a speaker at state science fair opening ceremonies

Lincoln Park Academy senior Todd Condon is one of only six students statewide selected for the prestigious honor to speak at the opening ceremony of the 57th State Science and Engineering Fair in April in Lakeland, Florida.  Todd will speak in front of 850 science fair participants, their parents and coordinators.  Todd was selected because of his ability to communicate his science research in a manner that suits scientists and lay persons alike.  Todd has participated in Science Fair every year since sixth grade, he has been to state competition four times and international competition twice.  He has been a role model to numerous … Read More

Lincoln Park Orchestras earn Excellent and Superior ratings at MPA in March

The Lincoln Park High School and Middle School Orchestras recently participated in the Florida Orchestra Association Music Performance Assessments held on March 11, where they both earned commendable Excellent ratings overall. Additionally, they achieved Superior ratings for their sight-reading performances, showcasing their impressive musical skills and preparation. This year marked a significant milestone for Lincoln Park Academy, as the school proudly sent a remarkable total of 96 students to this year’s Music Performance Assessments, which took place at Vero Beach High School. Lincoln Park Middle School: Student Council Elections

Lincoln Park Academy Middle School students completed the Student Council elections on Monday, September 30, 2024.    The middle school student council elections were a resounding success, with an impressive participation of 646 students. The students eagerly took part in the voting process and cast their ballots in their social studies classrooms. Lincoln Park Academy’s Sebastian Suarez Meets Challenge of the United States Congress

Fort Pierce, FL – Sebastian Suarez, a senior at Lincoln Park Academy in Fort Pierce, earned the Congressional Award Gold Medal.  Established into law in 1979, the Congressional Award was created to honor, encourage, and inspire America’s youth.  To earn the Gold Medal, Suarez completed 400 hours of Voluntary Public Service, 200 hours of Personal Development, and 200 hours of Physical Fitness. Additionally, he planned a trip to and explored New York City over a five-day period to better understand the cultures that shaped the metropolitan area. Lincoln Park Academy’s Project Citizen Finalists

Two groups led by Civics teachers  Alaina Moise and Tamara Lindo represented Lincoln Park Academy in the Project Citizen Showcase at IRSC on February 14, 2019. The first project entitled “Stop Human Trafficking” was presented by Molly Gillard, Alexis Bentinganan, Jaimy Ponceti, and Dalita Decambre. The second project entitled “Food Inspection Correction” was presented by Raul Pozniak, Ricardo Ramirez, Autumn Thomas, and Gabriel Vandermude. Of the three top spots, both projects placed in the top three to advance to the state competition. Congratulations on your success!

Lincoln Park Academy’s Giselle Cisneros Chosen to Participate in Florida Orchestra All State Orchestra

Lincoln Park Academy is pleased to announce that Giselle Arana Cisneros, a 7th-grade orchestra student, has been chosen to participate in the Florida Orchestra Association All State Orchestra on violin. She completed the audition virtually in October. Ms. Laura Hopkins is her orchestra director at LPA, and is very proud of her accomplishments. Giselle has loved music since she young. She started taking violin classes as part of her school Morningside Academy curriculum. Lincoln Park Academy’s FHSAA State Track Champion!!!

FHSAA State Champion!! On Friday May 6th, Caleb Pottorff of Lincoln Park Academy won the 3200 meter run at the State Championship event  in Bradenton. On Saturday May 7th, Caleb also ran the 1600 meter run and finished second. Congratulations to Caleb and his coaches for becoming a State Champion.

Lincoln Park Academy’s Concert Chorale to Participate in Disney’s 2015 Candlelight Processional

For the 8th consecutive year, the LPA Chorale has been selected to participate in the 2015 Disney Candlelight Processional. The Candlelight Processional held in the Epcot Center at the American Gardens Theater is a breathtaking retelling of the Christmas story in words and music complete with a 50 piece orchestra, choir and celebrity guest narrators. The narrators read the Christmas story and interspersed are favorite carols of the season. The Lincoln Park Academy Chorale will perform on Friday, December 11th at 6:45 pm and 8:15 pm. The celebrity guest narrator for the evening will be Ana Gasteyer.

Lincoln Park Academy’s 2021 Graduation May 25, 2021 195 students graduated as members of the class of 2021 from Lincoln Park Academy.   The 2021 Graduating Class of Lincoln Park Academy earned over $$2,800,000  in scholarships.   6 Graduates have enlisted to serve our country in the armed forces.   39 Graduates also earned their A.A. LPA Wins at Fair

Lincoln Park Academy’s 3-dimmensional art classes worked collaboratively to create a red, white, and blue Floridian inspired booth. The students each formed an individual red, white, or blue flower to contribute to a large hanging garden mural. The main focal point of the booth was a large eagle relief that read, “Art can change people and people change the world.” Ms. Duran’s advanced classes produced large “Big Head” sculptures inspired by influential Floridians and characters such as Tim Tebow, Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse, and Donald Duck.
