Students at PSLHS attended the Career Connect Conference today sponsored by CareerSource Research Coast where they were connected with businesses and education advisors from our Tri-County area (Indian River, St. Lucie & Martin). Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Culinary Crew Impresses Sandhill Shores Community

The Jaguar Culinary Crew led by Chef Foerster rocked the Snowflake Dinner and Dance at the Sandhill Shores community in Fort Pierce over the weekend.  We are so lucky to have our own Culinary Program that fosters a love and learning of all things that happen in both the Front of the House and the Back of the House while preparing students to become professional chefs! #OnceAJagAlwaysAJag

Port St. Lucie High School HOSA Students Going to State Competition!

Congratulations to the PSLHS HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) club and their mentor Mrs. Jacklyn Cebelak for their OUTSTANDING success at the HOSA Regional Competition in West Palm Beach! 12 out of 15 students placed and will move forward to the state competition in Orlando this April. Port St. Lucie High School Drama Department Successfully Opens “Anything Goes”

Port St. Lucie High School is always proud of its amazing Drama Department, led by Mr. Patrick Madden. If you haven’t been to a show at Port St. Lucie High School, you are missing out! The Winter Production of “Anything Goes” is underway and Opening Night was a grand success! “Just amazing,” one audience member said. “I thought I was sitting at a Broadway show,” said another. PSLHS Students Earn CNA Licenses

Congratulations to the new Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who earned their certification from the Florida Department of Nursing this week at Port St. Lucie High School.  90% of students in Mrs. Cebelak’s CNA program are now able to begin their career path as CNAs and support our community!  

PSLHS Theatre Students Help Morningside Students Pack the House!

Mr. Madden and his theatre students worked so hard this semester with Morningside Elementary students to prepare for their musical theater showcase. The house was packed and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the talent! The Port St. Lucie High School students were well prepared and handled themselves like professionals as they hosted the show. It’s exciting to see the next generation of talent on the rise. #futurejaguars

PSLHS Art Show a Success!

Port St. Lucie High’s first Art Show was put on Tuesday, December 13th by Mr. Graham and his students! The students from Mr. Graham’s 2D, 3D, and Creative Photography courses made it a nice night to show off their talent! We have some amazingly talented artists here at PSLH that we are so proud of! Thank you to Mr. Graham for pulling their creativity out of them!

PSLHS HOSA Students Have a HEART for Service

Mrs. Cebelak and her HOSA students coordinated a volunteer event with Molly’s House. Molly’s House is a home close to Cleveland Clinic that offers housing to those who have family members in the hospital or are receiving treatments themselves. They have 16 different room sizes, ranging from single beds to family apartment-style spaces. It is very similar to the Ronald McDonald housing, but an independent entity.  

ROTC Raiders Represent PSLHS at State Meet

Congratulations to 1st Sargent Pollino and the PSLHS Raider Cadets on a job well done! Out of the 86 schools represented, Port St. Lucie High School finished 4th, missing 3rd place by a couple of seconds. Nonetheless, they gave it their all and we are so very proud of their accomplishments. Way to go Jags!

Winter Spirit Week @ PSLHS was FUN!

Students and staff had a BLAST at the Port St. Lucie High School Winter Spirit Week this year. The campus is beautifully decorated for the season and so many students and staff participated!

PSLHS Band Rise to the Crown Jewel Challenge!

Another Crown Jewel in the books! What a crazy season it has been thus far. The growth in the PSLHS Band show in one week has been incredible! The PSLHS Jaguar Band received Runner Up in Silver Class, won best General Effect, and tied for best Music Performance. Also, the PSLHS Band General Effect was tied for First place out of ALL the bands in the whole competition, regardless of class. This show is going to be something else…. don’t miss it! Port St. Lucie High’s Saleem Felder Sets a New Record!

Friday Night Lights were record breaking on Friday, October 7th. PSLHS not only WON the game, but senior, Saleem Felder set a record for the MOST TOUCHDOWNS ever by one football player at Port St. Lucie High School. Saleem scored 7 touchdowns to bring home the win with his Jaguar Football teammates!

Port St. Lucie High School Athletic Department Collects Supplies for Hurricane Ian Victims!

The Port St. Lucie High School Athletic Department, headed by Athletic Director Harold Barnwell spent lots of time collecting bottled water, a variety of food, toiletries, and cleaning supplies to help our neighbors affected by Hurricane Ian. We are so thankful that we did well during the Hurricane and want to support our fellow Floridian’s as they begin the huge task of recovery.
