Port St. Lucie High Hosts Successful Junior Jaguar Cheer Camp

Jaguar Cheer Camp

Port St. Lucie High School (PSLHS) proudly announces the successful conclusion of its annual Junior Jaguar Cheer Camp, which saw enthusiastic participation from nearly 60 aspiring young cheerleaders. The camp, held over two distinct days – June 24th and July 15th, 2025 – provided an immersive and engaging experience for children aged 5-12, fostering a love for cheerleading and promoting community spirit.

The camp, designed and led by the talented PSLHS Jaguar Cheerleaders, offered comprehensive instruction in essential cheerleading techniques. Participants learned a variety of skills, including intricate PSLHS dances, dynamic cheers, and fundamental stunts, all within the safe and supportive environment of the PSLHS Gym. The program aimed not only to teach cheerleading fundamentals but also to inspire teamwork, discipline, and confidence in the young attendees.

“We are incredibly proud of the energy and dedication shown by all the Junior Jaguars who joined us,” said Coaches Marie & Krystal Quinones. “It was truly rewarding to see our high school cheerleaders mentor and connect with these aspiring athletes, sharing their passion and knowledge. The camp was a resounding success, and we believe it helped ignite a spark for cheerleading in many young hearts.”

Each participant received a commemorative t-shirt, a nutritious snack, and countless memorable moments with new friends, ensuring a positive and enriching experience. The camp’s success underscores PSLHS’s commitment to youth engagement and community development through sports and extracurricular activities. Port St. Lucie High School looks forward to continuing this tradition and welcoming even more junior jaguars to future cheer camps.
